Northrop Grumman will produce seven RQ-8B Fire Scout vertical take-off and landing unmanned air vehicles for the system development and demonstration phase of the US Army's Future Combat Systems' Class IV UAV project. The work is valued at $115 million. The US Air Force has awarded Boeing a $215 million contract to integrate its Joint Direct Attack Munition with a variety of aircraft for foreign customers. Northrop Grumman has received a $576 million contract from the US Navy for the multi-year procurement of three E-2C Hawkeye 2000 airborne early warning aircraft and five TE-2C trainers. Raytheon is to demonstrate the capabilities of hardened multi-spectral imagers, under a $9.4 million contract with the US Air Force Research Laboratory. Cubic Defense Applications will operate a joint conflict and tactical simulation centre in Ukraine under a contract worth up to $4 million over four years.
