Sofab Aerospace (W722) says a deal with Jet Support Services will reduce maintenance costs by 30% for owners in the Middle East. The link-up means that hourly cost guarantee packages for aircraft maintenance will be available in the region for the first time. Sofab will provide a projected set cost for aircraft maintenance, including unscheduled maintenance, taking into account flight time and aircraft specifications.
The service provides customers with a way of managing their operating and maintenance costs and eliminating uncertainty.
Sofab founder Hani Alsohaibi says it is a new concept for the Middle East. “We can look at an aircraft and who is operating it and give them a price for maintenance which in the Middle East ensures savings of up to 30%, dollar for dollar
“We provide a 24h supply of manpower and will send a maintenance team anywhere, anytime, anyplace.”
