Delta Air Lines is dropping services from Portland, Oregon, to Tokyo and Nagoya and replacing them with flights from New York's JFK and Los Angeles. The move marks a major change in strategy for Delta, which had hoped to build up Portland as an international gateway to Asia. The changes will take place from April. The airline already operates a daily nonstop between Atlanta and Tokyo.
