Delta TechOps has received an International Standards Organization ISO 9001 certification for its engine maintenance and landing gear shops.
Delta TechOps said that its engine maintenance division employs Lean/Six Sigma processes to provide flexible, comprehensive production planning of engines for Delta and other airlines and operators globally.
The engine shop services over 650 engines, with 300-plus customer engines in over 70 engine bays annually.
The airline added that it received ISO 9001 certification for its component maintenance shop in 2008.
