A Delta Air Lines flight from New York JFK is due to touch down today at Dubai International Airport. The inaugural flight will make Delta currently the only US airline to serve the United Arab Emirates. The flight will carry a top management delegation, including chief operating officer Frederick W Reid and chief financial officer Michele Burns. They will be greeted by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The direct Dubai-JFK service will operate via Cairo from tomorrow, making Delta the only carrier to offer direct flights from the UAE to JFK.
