The partnership between Derco Aerospace and Hamilton Sunstrand is being expanded to include the Hamilton Sunstrand line of environmental control system products for the Northrop F-5 Tiger and T-38 Talon aircraft.
Under this new agreement Derco, an exclusive distributor of certain Hamilton Sunstrand products, will market spare parts around the globe, including an upgrade to the existing refrigeration pack.
Derco will also work along side Hamilton Sunstrand to develop and market environmental control system (ECS) upgrades for all models of F-5 and T-38 aircraft. They are currently investing in the development and engineering work associated with the new upgrades. An enhanced version of the F-SF ECS system is already available.
Paul McBride, Derco's vice-president of Business Development and Product Support, says: "This agreement gives Derco Aerospace access to the largest aircraft hardware inventory in the world. We are honoured to be named the military distributor for HPG products."
