Thomas Skamijic's response (Flight International, 8-14 April) to my letter about using nautical miles instead of kilometres is amusing. The digital age indeed! When he has organised that there are 100h in the day, each of 100min, and that the globe is subdivided into 1,000 degrees rather than 360 and circles the sun in 100 days, that the moon be constrained to a 10-day cycle - then I'll listen to him.
