National Air Services NAS. Has ordered Embraer's E-190 and E-195 aircraft. Five E-190 jets will be leased to NAS by GE commercial Aviation Services and five more will be sold by Embraer in the $348 million deal, which could climb to $522 million if options for 12 more are confirmed.

Separately, GECAS and NAS have signed an operating lease agreement for three Embraer 190s and two Embraer 195s.

Each E-190 will be configured for 114 passengers and each Embraer 195 will have up to 195 seats. The fleet will be based at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, from where NAS operates Saudi Arabia's first-ever budget carrier service which was launched in February.
