CTT Systems has been boosted with an order from a completion centre for its Cair humidification system for a Boeing 747-8I VIP aircraft.
Due for delivery next year, the system will cover all sections of the jet, both main and upper deck.
"The 747-8I is the latest and largest aircraft Boeing has built and to be part of this initial VIP project is a huge success for us," said Ulf Liljenberg, vice-president sales and marketing of CTT Systems.
The company said that Cair lifts relative humidity from 3-5% to around 20%, reducing dry air related problems such as fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin and spread of viral diseases.
The dual-purpose system also incorporates the Zonal Drying system to counter condensation problems.
