St. Gallen, Switzerland based Altenrhein Aviation (stand 671) last year more than doubled its turnover in the maintenance of midsize cabin Gulfstream jets. With 4,500m2 (48,400ft2) of hangar space, Altenrhein can accommodate up to five Gulfstream aircraft at the same time.
The first European maintenance, repair and overhaul company certificated by the European Aviation Safety Agency to service the Gulfstream G150, Altenrhein is also qualified to maintain the G100 and G200 as well as business aircraft built by several other manufacturers. There are nearly 20 G150s in Europe since the model entered service here in September 2007.
Altenrhein Aviation is also an authorised service centre for Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, as well as for Honeywell engines and Rockwell Collins avionics.
