Customers for German refurbishment specialist OHS Aviation Services are being given the opportunity to visualise VIP interiors ever more clearly with the help of London company Tigerx.
It creates visualisations of interiors that are displayed on a 3D television. It can also create renderings of refurbishment projects that customers can take away with them to view on an iPad or other tablet device, says managing director Dougie Cross.
"This allows them to see exactly how the aircraft is configured," he says. OHS manager sales & marketing Petra Steffen adds: "This will enable customers to see exactly how their aircraft will look."
Business is brisk for the Berlin-based company, says Steffen. She adds: "Even if the market for new jets is not strong, there is always the need for refurbishment and repair."
As a special touch, it provides each customer with a pair of slippers made from the same leather as that used on the aircraft's seats.
