Export Development Canada (EDC) has provided C$25 million ($23.1 million) to C$50 million in financing for the latest Bombardier CRJ1000 deliveries to Garuda Indonesia.
Garuda has taken delivery of two CRJ1000s to date in 2014, Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows. Both aircraft are leased from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC).
The financing was signed on 25 March, according to EDC.
Garuda has taken delivery of nine out of the 12 CRJ1000s that it is leasing from NAC, according to Ascend. The remaining three aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2015.
EDC is understood to have provided financing for all of the aircraft.
