Raytheon has won an $80 million Boeing contract to begin production of the upgraded APG-63(V)1 radar for US Air Force F-15C/Ds. The contract is for 22 of a planned 162 radars to be delivered between late next year and mid-2005. The upgrade is being offered to F-15 operators Israel, Japan and Saudi Arabia.
