Lockheed Martin/Boeing's F/A-22 entered the next phase of testing on 29 April, a month later than planned. The US Air Force was required to resolve maintenance troubles and achieve 5h of continuous avionics stability before the fighter could begin initial operational test and evaluation. Five aircraft are involved in the tests, to be completed in September.
