Following its success last year, Asian Aerospace organiser Reed Exhibitions, has announced its return to Hong Kong in September 2009.

“The success of the first repositioned edition of Asian Aerospace in Hong Kong last year demonstrated the industry demand for a show focused on the business and commercial aviation industries,” says Jerome Lizambard, project coordinator Asian Aerospace 2009. Last year’s show attracted over 575 exhibiting companies and over 11,000 trade visitors from 63 countries.

“The rapid economic development of Asia will continue in the near future. In particular, China and India will feature strongly as engines of growth,” says senior vice president Clive Richardson.

“Asia lags behind the more sophisticated networks, service and product levels in the US or Europe. This gap provides abundant business opportunities for suppliers this is why Asian Aerospace has repositioned itself in Hong Kong providing the perfect platform for companies in China which have an eye on global markets, and international companies which are keen to explore business opportunities in China and the greater Asia Pacific region,” says Richardson.

Asian Aerospace 2009 will be held at Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo from September 7-10, 2009. “In order to maximise the show’s impact on potential Chinese attendees, and to deliver value for its customers we have revamped the Asian Aerospace website, clearly focusing on community and customers’ experience,” says Lizambard.
