Aerospace in the Midlands received a boost at Farnborough when Fischer Advanced Composit Components (FACC) signed a seven-year deal with Paul Fabrications of Castle Donington worth £10 million.

The deal involves the supply of sheet metal and material components for Airbus. The titanium and steel will predominantly be used for the manufacture of acoustic panels.

This is a fantastic deal for us as it continues our diversification strategy which is concentrating on hi-tech products for the commercial aerospace sector,” says Ingard Sagstad, managing director. “FACC is just the first step towards that goal and I’m very proud that such a great name in aerospace has chosen to work with us.”
