Despite having endured some of the wettest weather on record, the show's main structure supplier De Boer has managed to complete all of the temporary buildings on schedule. Up until late last week, thousands of sub-contractors were putting the finishing touches to fit-out more than 80,000m2 of accommodation provided by De Boer. The company, based in Brackley in the UK, has supplied facilities which form the key exhibition areas, business chalets, media centre and public restaurant and cafe areas.

De Boer's team completed the complex build in a 20-week programme, which included the transportation of equipment from across Europe in 200 articulated lorries.

De Boer's arch-roofed Emperor structure houses the media centre with conference rooms, a restaurant and cafe. Other facilities created around the site include public dining areas, organisers' offices, exhibitors' chalets and merchandising areas.

Project manager Katie Russell, who is one of the De Boer team that began work on the site back in February, says: "It is an enormous project and despite the rain, we completed the work on schedule."
