The next edition of the Paris air show may still be 10 months away, but organiser GIFAS is already predicting that the event - to be held from 20-26 June 2011 - will be the "biggest ever". The Paris team is meeting with partners and exhibitors this week at its stand in hall 1.
"Signs of an economic recovery are already apparent," it says, adding that 60% of the available exhibition space has already been booked. The top 50 aerospace companies are already committed to attending the show, according to the organiser.
"It is not only the large nations with rich aerospace backgrounds, but also the new countries of a globalised industry that will exhibit at the show in 2011," GIFAS says.
"The main European and French clusters, among others, have confirmed their participation in order to exhibit their knowledge and technical excellence, as well as to forge business partnerships."
