Finnair could drop its plan to add more Boeing MD-11s in favour of an early introduction of Airbus A340s, if it is unable to secure a suitable agreement by the second quarter. “The MD-11 market is pretty scarce at the moment... so far we haven’t had progress up to an agreement,” says the airline.
