First batch of Su-30MKIs arrives for Indian air force he first batch of a Sukhoi Su-30MKI multi-role combat-aircraft order for the Indian air force has been delivered by the Russian company. Eight basic Su-30PKs have now been taken to India, with the aircraft being delivered by Antonov An-124s of Volga Dnepr. The Indian aircraft will eventually be modified, including fitting canards and thrust-vector control. Improved radar is also likely eventually to be fitted. The initial order covers 40 aircraft.
