US internal carrier Trans States Airlines has formed a partnership with Florida-based FlightSafety Academy to provide first officer candidates.
FlightSafety’s line-oriented flight training allows candidates to experience the day-to-day challenges faced by airline pilots.
Trans States serves 90 midwest and eastern US cities with more than 440 daily flights. “We are very excited in bringing some of the brightest young talent in aviation to Trans States Airlines,” says Trans States staffing flight manager Ed Phelps.
