Avolon will lease three Boeing 787-9s to HNA Group carrier Suparna Airlines.
A stock exchange disclosure by the lessor’s parent Bohai Capital states that the aircraft will be operated on 12-year operating leases at a fixed monthly rate of $957,000.
No delivery dates were disclosed. Flight Fleets Analyzer suggests that Avolon has 11 787-9s in its order book due for delivery between January 2019 and November 2021 for which lessees have not been identified.
Fleets Analyzer shows that the carrier operates a mix of freighter and passenger Boeing 737s and 747s, as well as one 787-8. It has also committed to lease a General Electric GEnx-powered 787-9 from GECAS.
