The Jaguar Special Edition aircraft which is on display at the Raytheon exhibit this week flew back into the UK just in time for the show with two special pilots at the controls.

Michael Dale, President of Jaguar North America, and Blair Sullivan, manager of turboprop and piston products marketing for Raytheon Aircraft, took command for the 3,000mm (4,800km) journey to the aircraft's new base close to the place where it was designed in Coventry, UK.

"We brought this beautiful machine back home," says Dale. "With this 'plane, Jaguar and Raytheon have taken luxury transportation to new heights - 25,000ft - and it's a wonderful feeling to be able to fly this aircraft back to the people who helped create it personally."

The Special Edition is based on the Beech King Air C90B. The Jaguar styling team in Coventry worked with Raytheon's staff to develop the design theme for the fuselage, including special colours and materials.
