Ethiopian Airlines is seeking two dedicated freighters to meet increased European demand for transport of fresh produce. Speaking at last week's Regional Africa conference in Cairo, Ethiopian Airlines commercial planning director Yissehak Zewoldi said: "We are considering dedicated freighters. We haven't made up our mind." He said the airline is seeking perhaps two aircraft with a payload capacity of around 65t, although Boeing MD-11s - one of the possible options - are proving hard to source.
