The French government has delayed payment of FFr6.8 billion ($1.26 billion) in state aid due to Air France by the end of 1994. Concerns over the national deficit and a change in Air France's financial year-end from December 1994 to March 1995 led to the postponement.

The Danish government says it will appeal Air France's state aid approval in the European Court. The UK government is already taking action.
