Eurocopter has delivered the final two EC155 B1s to the German Federal Police, completing an order for 20 of the multirole, twin-engined aircraft as part of the service's fleet upgrade programme.
The federal police now operates an 87-strong fleet of Eurocopter-types for a wide range of duties, including border patrol, transportation of personnel and special forces, and search-and-rescue missions.
