AgustaWestland handed over the first Grand helicopter ordered by a British customer in a ceremony at the show yesterday.
Private customer Graham Roach took the keys to the aircraft.
The Anglo-Italian manufacturer also celebrated the award of EASA certification for IFR single pilot operation, which was granted in the run-up to Paris.
Unveiled at Farnborough 2004, the Grand is a new light twin helicopter developed to meet a wide range of roles, including corporate/VIP transportation, search and rescue, offshore operations, law enforcement and coastal patrol.
