Gulfstream has delivered 150 G200 business jets, with the large-cabin, mid-range jets have together accumulated more than 200,000 flight hours.

"The G200 fleet has established a proven track record in terms of performance, quality and reliability," said Pres Henne, senior vice-president of programmes, engineering and test. The G200 product line was acquired in 2001, and Gulfstream quickly reduced its weight by 270kg (600lb) as part of a redesign. In 2004 it received European Aviation Safety Agency certification.
Future manufacturing will have supervision from new senior vice-president of operations Dennis Stuligross, who was promoted last month from vice-president of the company's Savannah operations and final phase engineering and rollback.
