Hawker Pacific will conduct a sales tour of the Bell 407GX helicopter in Australia during August.
The Bell dealer says it will conduct demonstrations in a number of locations across the country, before heading to Singapore for further demonstrations in Asia.
"Mission flexibility is incredibly important for the Australian helicopter sector and the 407GX is a perfect fit for the market," says Hawker Pacific's senior vice-president aircraft sales and flight services group Tony Jones.
"From a utility perspective, the aircraft is frequently used for aeromedical transport, law enforcement, fire fighting/sling work, military, mining and exploration support and more. We expect utility demand to remain strong in Australia, bolstered by the resources sector."
The latest variant of the Bell 407 helicopter features a Garmin G1000HTM flightdeck, which provides easier access to critical flight information for greater situational awareness and safety. It shares a number similarities to the baseline model and is powered by a Rolls-Royce 250-C47B engine.
The rotorcraft can accommodate up to six passengers, including an additional seat in single-pilot operations.
