The acquisitive Heico group has agreed to acquire the Northwings Accessories repair and overhaul business in Miami, Florida, for $10.5 million. Heico says that it is targeting the components overhaul sector in its search for expansion. Over the first half of 1997, Heico virtually doubled sales to $28 million, earning net profits of more than $3 million.
