Aviation solutions company GA Telesis has formed a new a helicopter leasing and financing unit, and has added seven rotorcraft to its fleet.
GA Telesis Rotorcraft acquired a fleet of seven Bell 206L-4 LongRanger helicopters. It states that four of the rotorcraft will be subject to multi-year leases, with one more available for lease or sale. The sixth helicopter will be refurbished and made available for lease or sale later in the year.
The unit will also be parting out the final, seventh helicopter, and selling it as used serviceable material.
On the launch of the new rotorcraft unit, Marc Cho, who heads GA Telesis’ leasing, investment, financing and trading group, says: “Rotorcraft are a natural extension of the comprehensive suite of products and services that [GA Telesis] offers for commercial aircraft and engines.”
Cirium fleets data indicates there are 404 Bell 206L-4 LongRangers in operation globally.
