The newest member of Elbit’s Hermes family of UAVs, the Hermes 900, is being presented here at the Paris airshow. It incorporates all the features of the Hermes 450 but offers greater payload, higher altitude and longer flight endurance.
With a 15m wingspan and a 970kg max takeoff weight, it is capable of carrying a 300kg payload and operating in all weathers. It comes complete with Independent Auto Takeoff and Landing (IATOL) ability.
