Honduras based regional carrier CM Airlines plans to launch its first international route on 11 November with weekday flights from Tegucigalpa to Guatemala City, Guatemala, the airline confirms.
The Tegucigalpa-based carrier will operate the flights using its Saab 340A turboprop.
The airline expects some of the flights will return to the Honduras city of San Pedro Sula, although the "exact routing is still under discussion".
The idea is to operate a Tegucigalpa-Guatemala City-San Pedro Sula-Tegucigalpa triangle on some days, and the other way round on
other days.
CM Airline operates a single Saab 340A and three Let-410 aircraft on a network that covers five domestic destinations.
