Honeywell has signed a new agreement with Mumbai-based airline Jet Airways for the maintenance of APUs (131-9B) on the domestic carrier's 27 Boeing 737NG aircraft. Speaking at Asian Aerospace yesterday, Honeywell's Bernd Kessler, vice-president and general manager, aviation aftermarket services, said: "Honeywell will supply Jet Airways with exceptional technical knowledge in repairs as well as the ability to monitor equipment conditions and manage the repair supply chain. This allows Jet Airways to focus on its core business as an airline operator."

Established in 1993, Jet Airways has a fleet of 33 Classic and Next-Generation B737s and eight 62-seat ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft and it operates more than 255 flights a day.
