Hong Kong Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have signed a codesharing agreement, which took effect on 15 June.
The codeshare will see Hong Kong Airlines place its code on Garuda's Hong Kong-Jakarta service.
Garuda will also place its code on the Denpasar-Hong Kong service operated by Hong Kong Airlines
FlightMaps Analytics shows that Garuda competes with Cathay Pacific and China Airlines on the Hong Kong-Jakarta route. Similarly, on the Hong Kong-Denpasar route, the two airlines compete with Cathay Pacific and Dragonair.
