Danish operating lessor Nordic Aviation Capital has delivered the final two of five new ATR 72-600s to Air France's regional subsidiary Hop.
Financing on the two turboprops – MSNs 1283 and 1288 – is part of $165 million in proceeds from a 12-year facility raised by US mutual life insurance company New York Life earlier this year.
The lending facility covers a total of 11 new ATR 72-600 deliveries on operating leases to Brazilian carrier Azul and Hop.
Eight have been delivered to date, with three ATR 72-600s leased to Azul in March this year and now five with the French subsidiary.
The other three ATR 72-600s under the facility will be delivered to Azul.
Hop's fleet total 104 aircraft, Flightglobal's Ascend Fleets database shows.
NAC's exposure on the carrier's 25-turboprop fleet total 12 units, comprising five ATR 42-500s, a pair of ATR 72-500s and five ATR 72-600s.
