New cargo carrier Alfa Avia has put the first two of four Ilyushin Il-62s into service. The first aircraft, an ex-CSA Czech Airlines example, is operating alongside one of three ex-Aeroflot Il-62s. The airline has been formed by Moscow Vnukovo-based cargo carrier Aerofrakht (AeroFreight) with Russian conglomerate Alfa Group.
