In deals signed at the show, EADS has agreed to license technology to Diamond Aircraft Industries, Embvue, Lufthansa Technik, MT Aerospace, RAFI and TTTech. Technologies covered by the licences include vacuum assisted process technology for manufacturing composite parts (Diamond), avionics data networks (Embuve and TTTech), inertial sensor technology (RAFI) and friction stir welding (MT Aerospace). Airbus parent EADS says the deals have a value of €2.5 million ($3 million) and add to existing licensing contracts worth €10 million.
