The Italian air force has taken delivery of the first of two Dassault Falcon 900s for use on VIP services. It will receive the second Falcon by the end of this year when it is also due to take delivery of the first of two Airbus A319CJs. The aircraft are operated by 31 Wing at Ciampino, close to Rome. The air force has also moved one of its two Panavia Tornado F3 squadrons from Cameri in Northern Italy to join its other squadron at Gioia del Golle.
