Japan Airlines (JAL) Group has posted a full-year net profit of Y187 billion ($2.34 billion) for the 2011 fiscal year.
The group's total operating revenue was Y1,205 billion for the 12 months to 31 March, while operating income totalled Y205 billion.
The group did not provide corresponding figures from the previous fiscal year.
For the current fiscal year ending 31 March 2013, the group says that the outlook is uncertain because of the prevailing economic situation faced by the company, which include concerns of a downward swing in the global economy because of the European financial crisis and rising fuel prices caused by geopolitical risks in the Middle East.
As such, the group forecasts an operating revenue of Y1,220 billion; operating income of Y150 billion; and net income of Y130 billion.
