Bulgarian Air Charter buys more MD82s
Bulgarian Air Charter acquired four Boeing MD82s from the administrators of Alitalia. The carrier purchased Lot 4, which comprises MSNs 49973, 49975, 53224 and 53228, are equipped with the JT8D-217C engines. The first two aircraft were built in 1990. MSN 53224 was manufactured in 1994 while the remaining aircraft was built in 1995.
Aergo Capital extended the leases on three Boeing 737-400 (24530, 24858, 25355) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The three aircraft were built in 1989, 1990 and 1991, respectively.
Air Italy leased a Boeing 737-300 (28562) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aircraft Finance Trust. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by china Eastern Airlines.
Brussels Airlines extended the lease of a Boeing 737-400 (24270) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AerCo Group. The 1989-vintage aircraft will be leased through June 2012.
Comair acquired a Bombardier CRJ-100LR (7011) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines off lease from Wachovia Financial Services. The 1993-vintage aircraft was operated by Comair since new.
DHL agreed to lease three Boeing 757-200PCFs (29607, 29610, 29611) aircraft with PW2037 engines from Aerolease International. The 1998/99/2000-vintage aircraft that are currently being converted into freighters, were acquired earlier this year from Far Eastern Air Transport.
Eastern SkyJet leased a Boeing 737-400 (27213) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Waha Capital. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Futura International Airways.
Evergreen International Airlines leased Boeing 747-400F (26561) with PW4056 engines from Banc of America Leasing Ireland. The 1994-vintage aircraft was last operated by Singapore Airlines Cargo.
Flight Director acquired an Airbus A320-200 (246) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines from the CIT Group for part out. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Nouvelair Tunisie.
Euro Aviation leased a Boeing 737-400 (27143) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Wells Fargo Bank NA NW Trustee. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Olympic Airlines.
GA Telesis acquired an Airbus A320-200 (128) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines from the Air France for part out. The 1991-vintage aircraft was operated by Air France since new.
GA Telesis purchased a Boeing 747-300 (24159) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1 engines from Air India for part out. The 1988-vintage aircraft has been operated by Air India since new.
GainJet leased a Boeing 737-300 (23774) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from Southern Aircraft Consultancy. The 1987-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Horizons.
Hemus extended the lease of a Boeing 737-400 (24834) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AerCo Group. The 1990-vintage aircraft will be leased through December 2010.
Magnicharters acquired a Boeing 737-300 (24666) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from AirCorp. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by GOL Transportes Aereos.
Neptune Aviation Services leased a BAE Systems 146-200 (2049) aircraft with ALF502-R5 engines from Wilmington Trust. The 1986-vintage aircraft was last operated by Air Wisconsin.
PT Metro Batavia leased a Boeing 737-400 (23979) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AerCo Group through December 2014. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mandala Airlines.
Skywest leased a Bombardier CRJ-200ER (7465) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Bombardier Capital. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mesa Airlines.
Sunrise Asset Management acquired two Boeing 757-200ER (26963, 26964) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from AerCap. The 1992-vintage ex-Thomson Airways aircraft will be leased to Allegiant Air.
UT Air leased a Boeing 737-300 (25377) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ILFC. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Olympic Airlines.
UT Air leased a Bombardier CRJ-100LR (7135) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Panorama Leasing. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Lufthansa Cityline.
USA Jet purchased a Boeing MD-83 (49791) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Jetran International. The 1989-vintage aircraft was last operated by Spanair.
