Korean Air has placed an order for two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a deal worth won (W) 640.5 million ($560 million) at list price.

Both aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by late 2014, says an airline spokeswoman.

The South Korean flag carrier operates a fleet of 14 777-300s, and has another four on order.

Of its current 777-300 fleet, ten are 777-300ERs powered by the General Electric GE90 powerplant. The other four are 777-300s powered by the Pratt & Whitney 4098.
