The Wichita, Kansas-based National Institute for Aviation Research (NAIR) is to offer full-scale structural fatigue testing services to the aviation industry using facilities obtained from Raytheon Aircraft. NAIR will be able to work for any aircraft manufacturer, including competitors. Raytheon itself is the launch customer, and NAIR will provide structural testing for the company's entire range.
