Goodrich's display at Stand D9, Hall 4 is proving a hit with visitors. Highlights include the 5t left landing gear of a Boeing 777, a complete Boeing 717 nacelle system and a variety of ejector seats.
"The reaction people have had to the stand has been amazing," said Goodrich stand hostess Fran Campell. "The most popular exhibit has definitely been the Boeing landing gear. I think it is because landing gear is a part of the aircraft a passenger never gets close to and they are amazed by how big it is."
Also on the stand is a state-of-the-art Goodrich Smart Deck flight simulator, which visitors can try throughout the trade show. Features include a moving map, weather, traffic and terrain information on 250mm diagonal flat panel displays. Smart Deck also monitors engine aircraft systems for early detection of potentially hazardous situations.
