Liebherr-Aerospace is at Le Bourget showing its vast product range for both civil and military aviation.  Its offerings include flight control actuation systems, hydraulic systems, landing gear and air management systems.


Its newest addition is the active side-stick.  It is an innovative control stick that will in the future be able to replace the interfaces that the control cyclical and collective blade adjustment and the helicopter’s control surfaces.  The stick will proved the pilot with addition in-flight information and as such will help reduce the workload.  It claims it will give the pilots a better feeling for the aircraft’s behaviour, particularly in critical flight situations.


 The company is actively displaying air managements systems manufactured for the Boeing 747-8, as well as the pre-cooler, outflow valve, flow control valve and wing anti-ice valve for the air generation and temperature control systems of the Airbus A400M military transport.


The company also has extensive experience and knowledge in different types of landing gear including supplying Embraer for its E170/190 families of airliners.
It is also exhibiting various flight control components for the A400M – the rudder electrical back-up hydraulic actuator, the aileron electro-hydrostatic actuator and the power control unit.
