Lufthansa Technik has signed a six-year agreement to support Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris's fleet of 37 A320-family aircraft, effective 1 September.
Under the contract, Lufthansa Technik will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the carrier's 24 Airbus A319 and 13 A320 aircraft.
The contract also makes provision for MRO services on future deliveries.
Lufthansa Technik will supply spare parts to the airline's home base in Mexico City.
Additionally, the MRO firm will conduct repair and pooling of components at its facilities in Hamburg and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
