South Africa’s first of four AgustaWestland Super Lynx 300 anti-surface warfare helicopters made its debut flight from the company’s Yeovil site in the UK late last month. The aircraft are to enter service from next year. Meanwhile, the company has delivered its sixth of 11 Italian-built A109 light observation helicopters to Malaysia’s army and will hand over its remaining aircraft by year-end.
