Open from Tuesday, 14 August to Thursday, 16 August for trade visitors only. Admission hours for participants: 09:00-19:00; for professional andprivate visitors: 10:00-18:00. Thepublic will be admitted from Friday, 17 August to Sunday, 19 August.

TICKETS

Tickets are on sale at the exhibition entrances and kiosks in Zhukovsky.

GETTING THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

In the morning, trains leave the Kazanski railway terminal every 5-10min for the Golutvin or Vinogradovo stations. Ensure that they call at Otdykh station. The trains also call at Vykhino, where transfers to the show are provided between the Moscow Underground and the Railway. Shuttle buses will operate between the Vykhino and Otdykhstations and the show site.

Journey time from the terminal to the show is 1 -1.5h.

BY ROAD

Take the M5 motorway from Moscow, the A102 going to Bykovo airport and over to Zhukovsky, which is 38km (23 miles) north east of Moscow. Drive through the town to the LII aerodrome in the direction of Ramenskoye.

SHOW SITE

Located within the territory of the LII (Russian acronym for Gromov's Flight Test and Research Institute) and sporting a 5,500 x 120m wide runway. Indoor exhibition space is 12,000m² (130,000ft²). About 100,000m² will be used for outdoor displays.

STATISTICS

As of 24 July, 512 companies had applied to participate at Maks 2001, including nearly 400 from Russia. Over 500,000 visitors attended the show, including 78,000 during trade days (16,000 non-Russian citizens). This year, 393 Russian firms are said to be participating alongside 112 from 30 foreign countries.
