Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has confirmed an order by its parent company for six Airbus A380s for delivery from 2007. The airline's holding company, Pener-bangan Malaysia (PMB), has signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus to place the order on the state-owned carrier's behalf. The aircraft will be owned by PMB and leased to MAS, like all other aircraft in its fleet.
