Socata is offering the single-turboprop TBM 700 as the basis of a multi-mission aircraft covering a variety of military and paramilitary tasks. These include: maritime surveillance, target towing, electronic counter measures, and medical evacuation designs.
The aircraft has already been procured by the French armed forces, with some 25 on order. The Socata Epsilon is a two-seat piston trainer which can be fitted with four underwing hardpoints for stores carriage to perform weapons- training tasks.
